Wait - has it really been a year since the last time we were getting geared up for Edinburgh Fringe? Seriously?!
It's hard to credit but true. This year, armed with all the positivity, lessons learned, and - dare I say it? - following from last year, we're back to spank the Fringe until it begs for more.
People do want to listen to poetry, they do want to hear the voices of those traditionally under-represented, they do want to try new (free) things, and they can cope with people people throwing chocolate at them and talking about menstruation and masturbation. The chocolate-chucker isn't joining us this year, but the corsets, roses, sweets, treats, and burlesque lyrical shizzle are back in force, ladies and gentlemen.
This isn't the post I wrote an hour ago - that one died. Never mind. Over the next few weeks we're going to explore, in blog form, what made EdFringe 2012 so uncle-flipping awesome, and what changes this year will see. Before you know it, it'll be 3rd August 2013, 2:50pm, and we'll be tucking into our first show...
